Healthy Lifestyle Network Europe meeting in Kufstein, Austria

February 18, 2025

From February 11 to 13, 2025, nine European partners gathered in Kufstein, Austria, for the Healthy Lifestyle Network Europe meeting. This European collaboration develops awareness programs, campaigns, and training courses to promote a preventive healthy lifestyle in nine European languages. The meeting focused on evaluations, new initiatives, and future plans within the Healthy Lifestyle Network Europe project.

Healthy Lifestyle Promoter: Growth and strategy

During the meeting, an update was provided on the progress of the Healthy Lifestyle Promoter course. To date, 802 professionals have already completed this unique lifestyle-as-medicine knowledge update. Local promotion efforts were discussed, with students from FachHochschule Kufstein Tirol, who where also host of the meeting, sharing their project experiences on how they promoted and presented the Healthy Lifestyle Promoter course within the university.

Expanding Impact: Lifestyle Scan and Lifestyle SWITCH

One of the network’s key priorities is the development and promotion strategy for the Lifestyle Scan and Lifestyle SWITCH, with the goal of reaching 50,000 European consumers. As of February 12, 2025, the counter stood at 1,237 completed scans, despite the campaign not yet being officially launched. Various strategies were discussed to increase these numbers. Additionally, a plan was developed to actively involve Healthy Lifestyle Promoters in inviting consumers to participate.

Healthy Lifestyle Coach

The partners discussed the development of the new Healthy Lifestyle Coach training program. This program will be primarily offered as an online course but will also be available in a classroom setting to obtain a European-recognized qualification. Furthermore, the potential use of artificial intelligence for optimizing educational materials is being explored. The course will be promoted through social media, presentations, the Healthy Lifestyle Promoters network, and collaborations with students and universities.

Collaborating for a healthy future

The Healthy Lifestyle Network Europe Meeting highlighted the shared commitment to a healthier society through knowledge sharing, awareness, collaboration, and innovative projects. With concrete action plans, ambitious goals, and a growing network, this initiative continues to strive for sustainable lifestyle improvements across Europe.
